The Roblox description says controls are mentioned in game. Shutdowns move buttons. The table below is the community-documented set. If a key does nothing, read the current prompt before you rebind from memory.
| Action | What it does | What players report |
|---|---|---|
| Move | Walk when gas is gone | WASD on PC, stick on touch |
| Look | Aim the hook | Mouse, or drag on mobile |
| Left and right hooks | Fire each wire | Separate side inputs on PC; two ODMG buttons on mobile |
| Unhook | Drop a live wire | Key release on PC; tap the lit ODMG button again on mobile |
| Boost | Spend gas to accelerate on a wire | Space-style or jump while anchored |
| Slash or throw | Blades or the equipped spear | Attack input |
| Draw blades | Put steel in your hands | R on many PC setups |
| Transform | Enter or leave a titan | Often Z; some Colossal setups are reported on N or P |
| Roar | Highlight and knockback | Titan ability, not a Scout key |
Exact PC letters for the two hooks are not printed in the official description. Look at the in-game list.
Gear before keys
If both hooks fail, you are usually unequipped, out of gas, or tapping a covered mobile button. Equip ODM at spawn, press the draw-blade control, hook a wall, boost, and release. Do that before the first titan.
How speed becomes damage
A visible blade swing does not hurt a titan unless you are at speed 160 or higher while you pass through the body. Latch at least one wire and hold boost. Gliding without boost, or poking while you stand, deals nothing. Empty hands also deal nothing.
Three zones, once you are fast enough:
- Nape: bonus damage, then an internal cooldown before another nape hit counts on that target. The cooldown length is not published.
- Lower legs: a stun that stops movement and abilities for several seconds. Each leg has its own 4-second cooldown, so one limb cannot be chain-stunned.
- Eyes: half of the titan player's screen turns black for several seconds.
Leg stuns are not a separate key. They are a fast hit on the lower limb.
Dual hooks
One wire is a pendulum. Two wires let you change direction before you hit the floor. Fire the second hook before you release the first if you want to turn a corner. Fire both at one target if you want a straight pull toward a nape.
Boost on a taut wire. Boost with no hook is a hop. Save gas for the second beat of a swing.
A ten-minute drill
- Twenty wall-to-wall hooks with no boost. Touch grass and restart the count.
- The same path with boost. Watch the gas bar.
- Dual-hook one building, both directions.
- One boosted nape pass and one leg pass, then refill.
- On mobile, ten unhooks in a row without a panic second hook.
Buildings do not swipe. Practice on them. The map update reworked mobile ODMG buttons because players could not fire both grapples or release a stuck wire. Update the Roblox app if you still see a single tiny grapple.
2x ODM Gas doubles capacity. It does not teach release. Learn release first.
